Privacy

What we collect, what we don't.

Account data. When you register we store your username, email (if you provide one), and password hash. Posts you make in circles are tied to your username. You can delete your account by emailing reach-us@african.men; we'll erase your personal data and replace your authorship with "former brother" on any threads that remain.

Cookies & analytics

We use a single analytics cookie to understand which conversations help brothers most. The banner at the bottom of the page lets you accept or decline. Google AdSense loads on every page; until you accept, ads serve in non-personalized mode using Google Consent Mode v2. If you accept, ads may be personalized using cookies set by Google and we load a privacy-conscious analytics beacon. If you decline, we do not load third-party analytics.

Mentorship bookings

When you request a session with a mentor, we share your username and message with that mentor. We do not share your email with the mentor unless you've put it in your message. Payments — if any — are handled directly between you and the mentor, off-platform, while we work on the integrated payment flow.

Email

If you registered with an email, we may send you transactional email about your account or sessions you've booked. We do not send marketing email.

Children

This is a platform for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how we collect or share data, we'll show a banner on the next page you visit. Last revised: 2026-05-12.
